  68. This is the source disk for the Signature Program. This
  69. program allows you to embed signatures into documents, and
  70. allows other people to verify that it was you, and only
  71. you, that signed the document.

  73. Run the SIGNSET.EXE program from within Windows to install 
  74. the program.  Installation is normally done with the local 
  75. LAN administrator (if you have a LAN), because the system 
  76. administrator is responsible for maintaining the system
  77. password used by each copy Signature program on the network.
  78.  
  79. Installation also copies the help file SIGNSET.HLP to your
  80. hard disk, and places icons for SIGNSET.EXE and SIGNSET.HLP
  81. in a new Program Manager group.  Run the help file to get
  82. additional information about the Signature Program.

  84. The Signature Program can not be run by itself.  Once 
  85. installed, the Signature Program is activiated by selecting
  86. the "Insert Object" menu item from within another application,
  87. and selecting the object type "Sign Document."  This is
  88. explained in more detail in the help file, SIGNSET.HLP.

  90. The Signature Program runs under Microsoft Windows and Windows
  91. NT.  Applications must support OLE (Object Linking and
  92. Embedding) to use signatures.  Almost all major applications,
  93. such as Word and Excel, support OLE.
